Frequently Asked Questions - Students

I entered my Serial Number when asked for a password, but it's not working. Why?
The serial number printed inside your package is NOT your password. Use the serial number to register your product and obtain your unique 8-digit password. Use this password to unlock your CD and to login to your Ask Archie website account.
 
I have registered, what benefits have I unlocked?

By registering and becoming a member of Ask Archie, you are able to:

  • Receive tutorials
  • Have access to Exam questions
  • Book extra lessons
  • Gain access to ArchieMobile
  • Be enter into Archie exclusive competitions
  • And much much more…visit our website regularly for updates
What do I need my password for?
  • Your unique password is used to open your Ask Archie CD
  • Login to your Archie Member page on our website
What happens if I lose my password?

Simply submit the "forgot password" form on the home page to have it sent to your registered email address.
 
I’ve heard about these tutorials, but what exactly are they and how do I get them?
  • Tutorials are extra examples we provide as an added benefit to our Archie Members. They provide additional examples used to supplement the examples on the Archie CD
  • Tutorials are first sent out via email to you and are then available on your Members area. (see below)
  • Tutorials will be sent out every Saturday at 8am. This will allow you to practice extra examples given to you in class over the weekend
  • The following Saturday after a tutorial has been emailed to you it will be avialable for access on your Members portal
The Archie CD really helps, but I'd perhaps like to have extra lessons face-to-face with a tutor

Do my tutor lessons fall part of the Archie member benefit?

The Archie Tutoring service is available at an additional cost, and was introduced as an additional benefit to those that really need it.
 
I am confused, do lessons happen over the internet, or do I have a real person who is teaching me?

Archie sends a tutor directly to you who will sit down and teach you or your group.
 
Where does Archie have these lessons?

Lessons are coordinated between you and your tutor, and lessons normally occur at your house for your convenience, unless you would like tutoring elsewhere.
 
I would like to have extra lessons in a group, is this possible?
  • In order to make extra lessons available and affordable to as many students as possible, Ask Archie now allows you to have extra lessons face-to-face with a tutor, but in a group
  • This means that you and any buddies can team up in a group of 3 or 5 to create your own little study group who will be taught be the Archie tutor
